Cioppino’s Mediterranean Grill and Enoteca , has been awarded by the government of Italy , Repubblica Italiana, Marchio Ospitalita’ Italiana 2011, Ristoranti Italiani nel Mondo.This important award from the motherland had this motivations outlined: Cioppino’s Restaurant , year after year showed the up most hospitality commitment, greatest food quality, truthful to the roots, respectful of the tradition and highest culinary standards. The award was presented at the Italian Cultural Centre , by Celso Boscariol, president of the Italian Chamber of Commerce Canada West, Elizabeth Iachelli, and the Italian General Consul Francesco de Conno.

Best Formal Italian for the 9th year in a row

Once again Cioppino’s has been awarded best formal Italian Restaurant from Vancouver Magazine, making this the 9th time in a row. As well Cioppino’s won gold again in the Wine list competition at the Vancouver Playhouse festival.

Chef Pino to be Honoured at the DiRōNA Gala

Chef Pino is to be inducted into the DiRōNA Hall of Fame at their annual conference in Toronto.
On Tuesday September 21st Pino will be the featured Chef at the Gala dinner then on Wednesday September 22nd Pino will be inducted into the DiRōNA Hall of Fame.

Cioppino’s will be closed from Monday 20th re-opening for dinner on Thursday 23rd
